Welcome to the fifth issue of JEWEL — Jewel 2013, or should that be 20 131?!

Whatever …. As per the previous issues you’ll find that JEWEL is packed with info on the latest happenings within the jewellery trade i.e. the products, ranges, launches, innovations and the people behind same. Which means, of course, that it’s just about the most glamorous, sumptuous magazine about!

This year, to make it easier for you to navigate we’ve looked at the important occasions that crop up during the calendar year and we’ve sought the assistant of those in the know to bring you an array of gifts, to suit all budgets, for those occasions. Some are the traditional gifts associated with that time/occasion (i.e. medals for First Communion) Some are a little more unusual (like the delicate ‘first diamond’ jewellery that’s become popular in recent years for that very occasion) But, even where it’s the traditional gift we’ve brought you the latest take on it.

We’ve also got the latest on bridal jewellery from the diamond ring and wedding bands, right through to gifts for the wedding party, plus our regular, and very popular, look at the watch scene which remains vibrant in spite of all the predictions of its imminent demise thanks to the use of phones these days. So, the message is — if you have an occasion coming up that you want, or need, jewellery for, get a cup of tea and a nice chocolate biscuit and flick through the latest issue of JEWEL.
