Last year we launched L&M jewel, as a supplement with LOVE&MARRIAGE magazine.
Reaction to it was good so this year it is a stand alone publication.
To some it might seem like a crazy idea, launching a jewellery magazine in a time of recession but, there is a logic to it! When money is hard to come by even disposable income deserves to be treated with respect. There is no more respectful gift – whether for yourself or another person – than jewellery. If bought well it’s thoughtful, enduring and a thing of beauty. Something that could even be passed on to future generations. It can say more about your intentions than a thousand words.
And that, in a nutshell, is why jewel was born, to offer our help to you, in making the right choice when you buy your jewellery. We are helped in this aim by our partners, the RJI, the 116 independent jewellers dotted all round Ireland who stock products that are guaranteed high quality, authentic and on trend. With their advice you won’t go wrong spending your money.

Love is in the air

Spring has officially sprung and, according to Alfred Lord Tennyson “a young man's fancy lightly turns to thoughts of love." If the love of your life manifests this by asking you to marry him you’d better bone up on the rings that suit you! But even if you’re not getting engaged Spring is as good a time as any to treat yourself to a gorgeous ring. Who doesn’t deserve it after the miserable Winter we’ve endured? Check out our April Feature on rings to suit your hands. It should go a long way towards making sure you find a piece of jewellery that complements your hands to perfection.
